Halloween Treat Bag Topper

Written By Brandi Moore on October 26, 2011 | 3:23 PM

I've created a Halloween Treat Bag Topper for free use. It's width is 4.125 inches and I used the zip bags from Walmart in their Craft/Jewelry/Bead aisle. I also stapled the Topper to the bag, but first I used a permanent black marker to color my staples to camouflage them.

Baseball Cake Pops

Written By Brandi Moore on June 28, 2011 | 7:20 PM

I finally feel like I'm getting the hang of cake pops. You know the delicious bites of cake and chocolate on a lollipop stick. It takes skill to just make the plain cake pops let alone the awesomely detailed ones.
I went a little further and turned my white cake pop into a baseball using red piping gel. Then on Wilton.com I saw this trick to making grass using green chocolate and a cupcake wrapper.

My youngest turned six years old today and I realized last night it was my last day with a five year old living in my house. It's been a great year with the additions of kindergarten exploration and he's already talking about first grade. Here's peek at his birthday breakfast.

There are not to many personalized items in the stores with his name spelled correctly,
so I made sure to find the letter candles.

Quick Valentine Treat

Written By Brandi Moore on March 4, 2011 | 8:12 PM

If you're looking for a cute presentation that's cost is comparable to a Hallmark card then look no further than Jiffy Pop. I took a free printable of Valentine Subway Art, hand cut 2 hearts, 2 brads and sponged some ink on the hearts then inserted a gift card. I'm sharing the link to the Subway Art and a link for a similar snowman project.

I'm your Valentine, Beau

Written By Brandi Moore on February 21, 2011 | 8:43 AM

My kindergartener come home with an assignment to make a Valentine box. I of course was very excited for this project and asked him what he wanted to do. After much conversation he said make it Star Wars and make it big. Now for the record, I did request that he help me, but he isn't into the crafty projects, so eventually he disappeared from the table.
I used a cereal box and found a wallpaper of Darth Vader then created a circle with I'm Your Valentine. A little play on words of his famous "I'm Your Father" quote.

Celebration Planning Mission - Code Name "Haley"

Written By Brandi Moore on January 27, 2011 | 8:32 AM

My daughter's 11 birthday is in April and she's decided her party will be at a roller skating rink and her theme is disco balls, black, hot pink & silver. Lucky for me she made this decision before all the Christmas decor was gone. I was able to buy pink disco balls on stems and silver disco ball ornaments.
I've created her invite and have a design for the tablescape. Now it's finding the those few pieces that will tie it altogether.
