Haley's GlamFunk Party

Haley instructed me she didn't want a rock princess or 70's disco theme, but something in between. I created GlamFunk by using hints of zebra striping, disco balls and pinks to create a party she loved!

I made Paper-Plate Polyhedrons and painted them black to hang from the ceiling. I found how to make them at http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/paper-plate-polyhedron-933447/

The H is made of cardboard and covered with zebra tissue paper from Hallmark.
I cut the circles out of black glitter paper using the Cricut.
I was able to find zebra ribbon to adorn the printables that I created for the party.

The table skirt is 15 bunches of pink and black tulle with disco balls hanging in between and icicle lights.

The gumballs were purchased from The Polka Dot Market.

These black & pink swirl candy stix, I found at Cracker Barrel 10 for $1. I used pink marshmallows to give them height in the glass container.

Precisely staked Oreos

Bright Delights made the cake.

SugarChic made the cookies.

I made these using store bought Rice Krispies Treats; added a stick, covered them in chocolate, thrashed pink chocolate on them & added a pink bow.

I made the cupcakes and used white & black icing in the bag to get a swirl effect. I created these toppers that tied the GlamFunk together.

Funny story - I decided I was tired of making cake balls and dipping them in chocolate, so I came up with pressing them into a square, scalloped, mini cookie cutter and naming them Petit Cakes.

These are not the famous milk jugs seen everywhere. Instead they are a 4 pack of Starbuck's Frappuccino Coffee Drinks. I used Kool-aid powder to get the color.

Cake Balls. I stuck 2 together to write the birthday girl's initials.

Candy Sixlets in a XL Margarita glass. I used a wooden clothes pin with the ribbon and label hot glued to it then sat it in the middle of the candy.

I found caramel Hershey Kisses which had the hot pink foil wrapper and made stickers to match the printables.
